
There have been a number of initiatives and projects that I have been tasked with throughout my roles. Roll over the buttons for a little more information. I am happy to discuss any of them in further detail at interview.
I have worked alongside senior managers in schools as part of my role as a staff representative on the governing board (including taking an active part in the curriculum and monitoring committee. You will see some of my accomplishments within this role also mentioned here, along with details of some more challenging times.
I am proud that I have been part of teams that have been reviewed by OFSTED as Good. The most recent being my current school that was upgraded from Requires Improvement.
E-Safety Policy
While working at Leesons Primary school I was tasked by the EHT of three trust schools to write the E-Safety policy.
Whole School Computing Strategy
I developed a whole school package for the teaching of computing using the 2015 N.C. which was well received.
Subject Leadership
In the long term absence of a leader. I took on the role of subject leader for Computing.
Enhanced School Behaviour Policy
We were using the 'Good To Be Green' behaviour plan. I proposed and had implemented a reward system to compliment this.
Becoming an Academy, Trust Membership
As A Governor on working parties and task forces our LA Maintained school became an Academy and formed a M.A.T. unfortunately this was not successful and we left to eventually join a new trust.
The Business with the SAT's
I was a governor when the 2017 KS2 SAT's were annulled after an investigation by the DfE. The Head Teacher was removed from post.
Changes of Headship
After the above, I was still a governor when we underwent a number of changes of head in a short period of time. I worked closely with EHT and trust CEO during this time.
